WHY WE COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PATRONS?
We use the information you provide to us, to provide services to you.

Whenever we collect personal information from you, whether electronically or otherwise, we will make every reasonable attempt to ensure the privacy of that information and that it will only be used for the purposes for which it was collected.

• to place you on our mailing list
• to respond to any inquiries you have about the Noosa Longweekend
• to inform you of any details about the Noosa Longweekend
• to inform you of any selected special offers made to our Ticket buyers and Mailing List subscribers, by Noosa Longweekend sponsors.
• To ensure that these purposes are fulfilled, the information may be disclosed to other companies involved in organising and conducting the Noosa Longweekend

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

• We collect the e-mail addresses of those individuals who communicate with us via e-mail or who give us their e-mail address.
• We collect information and contact details that individuals and organisations voluntarily provide via e-mail or by submitting forms, applications, or surveys on our website.
• We collect details from those people who join our Patron and donation programs (Friends and Business Friends)
• Via our Ticketing Service Provider, we collect information and contact details on our Ticket Buyers.

HOW WE USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
We use the information provided to deliver the service for which purpose the information was gathered. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request for our services.

We use e-mail addresses and volunteered information to send news and information, notices of upcoming events and deadlines, and other forms of relevant information to those who request it.
In some cases, we may collect aggregate information about our subscriber base for feedback purposes and share it with selected business partners i.e. number of users, geographical breakdown etc.  In these instances, no personally identifiable information will ever be communicated or shared.

INFORMATION GATHERED VIA OUR INTERNET SITE
To improve the usefulness of our Web site, we collect traffic information from our site's server logs. This information does not identify the visitor individually. The information we collect consists of:

• Your internet service provider. For instance, if you connect to our site using Bigpond our system will track that someone using Bigpond connected to the site. The Internet Protocol number.
• The date and time that the page was visited.

We will not know any personally identifiable information about you, including your name or email address, unless other wise disclosed.
Some pages use cookies to maintain sessions or to automate navigation. We do not use cookies or any other similar technology to collect information about our visitors.
