Floating Land: Rising Seas

The venue is Boreen Point, Lake Cootharaba in the UNESCO-listed biosphere of Noosa

Floating Land is an ongoing conversation about the environment, creativity and culture.

The10-day event brings together visual and performance artists, writers, photographers, educators, researchers and the community to explore the theme of climate change.

➤ Opening night at the Noosa Regional Gallery: Meet the artists, explore the exhibitions - Waters of Tuvalu: a Nation at Risk (from Museum Victoria) and Legacy Tuvalu: Footprint on Funafuti.

➤ Connecting Threads: Internationally acclaimed sculptor, Virginia King will guide the creation of naturally aesthetic works to either be launched on the lake or joined as part of a collaborative work.
